AZ HB2014

Amends section 49-1201 to add a new definition of "bonds" as any bonds, obligations, notes, certificates or other indebtedness of the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona approved by the board.

Renumbers existing definitions in section 49-1201 from numbers 3-22 to 4-23 to accommodate the new bonds definition.

Amends section 49-1309 to authorize the authority to issue long-term water augmentation bonds for water supply development projects, refunding existing obligations, and capitalizing the long-term water augmentation fund.

Allows the board to pledge revenues to a state treasurer or bond trustee to secure the bonds and establishes that board members and bond signatories are not personally liable for bond payments.

Permits the board to purchase and cancel long-term water augmentation bonds at specified redemption prices plus accrued interest.
