Adds new requirement that sentences for misconduct involving weapons (prohibited possessor charge under subsection A, paragraph 4) must run consecutively to other sentences if the state alleges at least 20 days before trial that the offense occurred while committing a new felony offense.

Applies consecutive sentencing mandate only when the state provides advance notice of the new felony allegation at least 20 days prior to trial.

Maintains existing classifications for misconduct involving weapons violations, with prohibited possessor violations remaining a class 4 felony.
