• Requires voluntary diabetes care assistants to receive written attestation of proper training in glucagon administration from a licensed health professional before administering the medication.

• Provides civil immunity from liability to school districts, charter schools, employees, health professionals, and pharmacists who implement diabetes management plans and train school personnel in good faith.

• Amends Arizona medical and pharmacy licensing statutes to establish that prescriptions for glucagon written or dispensed for school stocking under this section are exempt from the requirement to establish a prior physician-patient relationship.
