Amends Arizona Revised Statutes § 35-728 to modify the notice and comment process for low-income housing tax credit projects.

Requires the Arizona Department of Housing to notify local jurisdictions (cities, towns, counties, or tribal governments) when a multifamily rental project is planned in their jurisdiction and provide a reasonable opportunity to comment as required by federal law (26 U.S.C. § 42(m)(1)(A)(ii)).

Removes the requirement that the department obtain written consent from local governing bodies before proceeding with projects, replacing it with a notice-and-comment requirement.

Clarifies that the department shall not interfere with or attempt to override local jurisdiction's planning, zoning, or land use regulations.

Maintains the department's existing requirement to provide annual reports to state leaders on housing activities, assistance provided, and economic impact.
