Extends the deadline for federal Environmental Protection Agency approval of Arizona's proposed gasoline fuel formulation modifications from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2027.

Section 3-3493, Arizona Revised Statutes will not become effective unless the EPA approves the proposed modifications to the state implementation plan for air quality by the extended deadline.

Requires the Director of the Department of Environmental Quality to notify the Arizona Legislative Council by October 1, 2027 regarding whether the EPA approval condition was met or not met.

Designated as an emergency measure effective immediately upon enactment (signed by Governor April 2, 2024).
