Joint Legislative Budget Committee shall conduct a cost and revenue study of managing all federal land in Arizona not controlled by the Department of Defense, Bureau of Indian Affairs, or Bureau of Reclamation.

Study shall assume Arizona receives control and management of applicable federal lands at no cost to the state and shall calculate all current revenues generated by those federal lands.

Arizona Game and Fish Department, State Parks Board, Department of Administration, Department of Law, Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Water Resources, State Forester, State Land Department, and other relevant agencies must provide requested information to support the study.

Joint Legislative Budget Committee shall submit the completed study to the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house within one year of the bill's effective date, with a copy provided to the secretary of state.

This section repeals on December 31, 2025.
