Prohibits employers, labor organizations, and apprenticeship/training programs from discriminating against individuals based on protective hairstyles, race, or ethnicity.

Defines "protective hairstyle" to include braids, locks, and twists.

Expands definition of "race or ethnicity" to encompass ancestry, color, ethnic group identification, ethnic background, hair texture, and traits historically associated with race.

Prohibits nursery, elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate private schools and other educational institutions from discriminating against individuals based on protective hairstyles, race, or ethnicity.
