Prohibits teachers, principals, and school employees from subjecting students to corporal punishment, defined as inflicting physical pain as a means of discipline.

Excludes from the corporal punishment prohibition incidental or minor physical contact used to maintain order, control, and safety, and allows continued use of restraint or seclusion techniques that comply with section 15-105.

Removes the requirement that school district governing boards prescribe procedures for using corporal punishment, eliminating paragraph 2 from section 15-843 subsection B.

Updates terminology throughout related statutes by replacing "pupil" with "student" and making conforming changes to numbering and cross-references in student discipline procedures.
