Pharmacy technicians at remote dispensing site pharmacies must maintain active, nationally recognized certification approved by the board and may not perform extemporaneous sterile or nonsterile compounding.

Pharmacy technicians at remote dispensing site pharmacies may prepare commercially available medications for dispensing, including reconstitution of orally administered powder antibiotics.
