Amends section 36-2006 of the Arizona Revised Statutes regarding Department of Health Services monitoring of alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment programs.

Corrects statutory reference from section 8-249 to section 8-343 in the list of sections authorizing use of screening, education, and treatment programs.

Maintains Department of Health Services authority to adopt rules for facility approval standards, approve facilities, establish referral standards, create standardized screening assessments, and set reporting and record-keeping requirements.

Applies to alcohol and other drug programs and facilities referenced in sections 5-395.01, 8-343, 28-1381, 28-1382, and 28-1383.
