Requires the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) administration and contractors to provide comprehensive coverage for obesity treatment, including prevention, nutrition counseling, behavioral therapy, bariatric surgery, and FDA-approved antiobesity medications.

Prohibits coverage criteria for FDA-approved antiobesity medications from being more restrictive than the FDA-approved indications for those drugs.

Allows AHCCCS to use prior authorization to determine medical necessity for obesity treatment, but only if applied using the same standards used for other medical conditions.

Requires AHCCCS to provide written notice to members about obesity treatment coverage, prominently displayed in member materials and correspondence during the annual information distribution period.

Defines "FDA-approved antiobesity medication" as any medication approved by the FDA for chronic weight management in patients with obesity.
