Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 12-1178 to change the timing requirements for writs of restitution in eviction cases.

Writs of restitution shall not issue until 5 calendar days after judgment is rendered, and shall not be enforced until at least 7 calendar days after the writ is issued.

Requires courts to notify defendants found guilty of forcible entry and detainer or forcible detainer that remaining in or returning to the property without permission after being served with a writ of restitution constitutes criminal trespass in the third degree.

Appropriates $290,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the Department of Economic Security for rental assistance programs, with at least $10,000,000 allocated for persons age 65 or older.

Makes the appropriation exempt from Arizona's lapsing appropriations statute, allowing unspent funds to carry over.
