Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 38-904 concerning death benefits under the corrections officer retirement plan.

Clarifies that death benefits equal to two times a member's accumulated contributions are payable to a designated beneficiary, or if none survives, to nearest of kin or the member's estate as determined by the local board.

Defines "inactive member" as a person who previously contributed to the plan, has not retired, is not currently contributing, and has not withdrawn contributions.

Updates language regarding child pension payments to specify that pensions for surviving minor children or children with disabilities are paid to their legal guardian until age 18, then directly to the eligible child if still qualified.

Provides that child pensions for disabled individuals age 18 or older who remain under guardianship or conservatorship due to disability continue to be paid to the guardian or conservator.
