State Board of Education shall conduct a comprehensive study to determine teacher retention rates in school districts and charter schools statewide.

Study shall include data analysis for each state board-approved teacher preparation program, covering program completion rates, subject area and grade level emphasis, and years individuals work as teachers in Arizona after completing the program.

Department of Education and State Board for Charter Schools must collect and provide any requested data or information to support the study.

Board shall submit study results and recommendations annually on or before December 31, 2024 and each year thereafter to the Governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and Secretary of State.
