Department of Education shall administer an annual survey of students, parents, and employees in Arizona school districts and charter schools covering school climate, safety, barriers to engagement, character education, student behavior management, curriculum content, and respect for individuals.

Department shall annually post survey results disaggregated by individual school district, charter school, and individual school in compliance with federal law.

Department shall report survey results to senate and house education committee chairs by January 15 each year, including a summary of findings and recommendations regarding school safety and climate.

Department may contract with public or private entities to administer the survey.
