Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-196 regarding witness protection authority of the Department of Public Safety director.

Corrects grammatical and stylistic language throughout the statute, including replacing "upon" with "on," "a violation of" with "violating," and updating pronouns from "his/he" to gender-neutral forms.

Maintains the director's authority to provide security for government witnesses, potential witnesses, and their immediate families in criminal or civil proceedings when testimony could subject them to bodily injury.

Preserves the director's ability to purchase, rent, or modify housing facilities and contract with government agencies for witness protection services, with attorney general concurrence.

Allows use of monies from the anti-racketeering revolving fund established under section 13-2314.01 to fund witness protection programs.
