Applicants must complete either a U.S. Department of Labor-approved or Department of Economic Security-approved apprenticeship program, either at a state-licensed school or with an approved apprenticeship conductor who holds the relevant license.

Requires applicants to pass any required examination for licensure, certification, or registration, with passing scores that cannot discriminate between apprenticeship program graduates and vocational or trade school graduates.

Authorizes occupational regulating authorities to adopt rules necessary to implement these apprenticeship licensing requirements.
