Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-901.03 to allow violent crime allegations to be charged regardless of whether a defendant is participating in or has completed a first offender or deferred adjudication program where conviction is withheld.

Requires the court to allow violent crime allegations to be filed at any time before trial, unless filed fewer than 20 days before trial and the court finds the defendant was prejudiced by the late filing.

Defines "violent crime" as any criminal act resulting in death or physical injury, or any criminal use of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
