Establishes a mixed-income housing study committee consisting of 10 members, including 3 state senators, 3 house representatives, and representatives from the Arizona Department of Housing, Department of Economic Security, city/town government, nonprofit housing organizations, county governments, water resources, and mixed-income housing development.

Committee members are appointed by the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House (with bipartisan balance for legislative members) and serve at the pleasure of the appointing official, with no compensation but eligible for expense reimbursement.

Committee shall study and recommend strategies for increasing mixed-income housing development, including appropriate locations and development methods, reasonable income ranges, identification of barriers and incentives, and consideration of redeveloping government-owned or underused properties.

Committee must submit a comprehensive report to the governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and Secretary of State by December 15, 2024, detailing recommendations for administrative, community, or legislative action.

Committee and authority under this section expire and are repealed on November 30, 2025.
