Beginning January 1, 2025, state legislators' annual salary shall equal the annual salary of a county supervisor as specified in section 11-419, subsection a.

Removes the commission's authority to review and make recommendations regarding legislative salaries; legislative compensation is excluded from the commission's biennial pay review process.

Eliminates the previous mechanism allowing the electorate to vote on legislative salary recommendations from the commission.

The bill becomes effective only upon voter approval of a constitutional amendment via House Concurrent Resolution at the next general election.
