AZ HCR2015

Proposes amendment to Arizona Constitution Article II by adding Section 38 establishing an inherent and inalienable right to a clean and healthy environment, including clean air and water, and preservation of natural, scenic, historic, and aesthetic values.

Declares all people of Arizona, regardless of race, wealth, ethnicity or other identity, possess this environmental right equally.

Establishes the state as trustee of public natural resources, which are declared common property of all people including future generations.

Requires the state to conserve and maintain natural resources for the benefit of all people.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election.
