Ratifies the Equal Rights Amendment proposed by Congress on March 22, 1972, which states that equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of sex.

Adopts House Joint Resolution 208, which establishes that Congress has power to enforce the amendment's provisions through appropriate legislation.

Specifies that the amendment takes effect two years after the date of ratification.

Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit a copy of the resolution to the President of the United States Senate and the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.
