Scottsdale Fire Captain Kory M. Yule passed away on January 7, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona, at age 42 from occupational cancer.

Captain Yule served more than 22 years with the Scottsdale Fire Department and led the Scottsdale Honor Guard for many years.

He was born in Phoenix on June 12, 1981, and graduated from Horizon High School before beginning his fire service career.

Captain Yule is survived by his wife Ashley, children Hudson and Grace, bonus daughters Paisley and Brinley, brother Kevin, parents Mark and Mary Beth, and grandparents Farrel and Liz Rasner.

The Arizona House of Representatives expresses regret for Captain Yule's passing and extends deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
