AZ SB1004

Establishes the Office of Agricultural Intelligence within the Department to administer, enforce, and investigate violations of foreign agricultural land ownership restrictions.

Prohibits agents of designated countries, companies with majority control by designated country citizens, and citizens of designated countries from purchasing, acquiring, or controlling interest in agricultural land or land used to harvest timber, minerals, gravel, or other natural products in Arizona.

Exempts lawful permanent residents of the United States from the foreign ownership prohibition.

Authorizes the Attorney General and Office of Agricultural Intelligence to enforce restrictions through superior court action, with courts ordered to divest illegal interests and direct county treasurers to sell the land with remaining proceeds deposited in the state general fund.

Defines "designated country" as any country identified by the U.S. Director of National Intelligence as posing a risk to U.S. national security in the three most recent annual threat assessments; violation is a class 6 felony.
