AZ SB1006

Amends section 35-323 to add investment restrictions prohibiting public monies from being invested in companies identified under section 35-392.

Requires the state board of investment to adopt a policy identifying and divesting from U.S. companies that donate to or invest in organizations promoting abortions for minors or sexually explicit material in K-12 schools.

Requires the state treasurer to divest from companies identified under the new abortion and explicit material policy and notify the governor, legislative leaders, and department of administration of divestments.

Directs the department of administration to notify identified companies that Arizona and its subdivisions cannot purchase their products or services until they are no longer identified under either divestment policy.

Defines "sexually explicit material" to include textual, visual, or audio depictions of sexual conduct, sexual excitement, and ultimate sexual acts.
