AZ SB1120

Amends Arizona law to require that occupational associations with disciplinary authority may only investigate complaints and take disciplinary action if the complainant has a substantial nexus with the person being complained about.

Creates new statute requiring state agencies to follow the same substantial nexus requirement when investigating complaints and taking disciplinary or enforcement action.

Clarifies that the law does not require private employers to hire or fire employees, nor does it impair employers' rights to establish eligibility criteria, ethics codes, or disciplinary policies.
