Requires employers with at least 50 employees in Arizona to grant employees up to 16 hours of unpaid leave per school year to attend school conferences or activities for their child, with a maximum of 4 hours per day.

Employees must have worked for the employer for at least 6 consecutive months, work at least half-time equivalent hours, and must exhaust other accrued leave (vacation, personal, compensatory) before using this leave.

Requires employees to provide at least 7 days' written notice for scheduled conferences or 24 hours' notice for emergencies, and prohibits employers from approving leave if it would result in more than 5 percent of the workforce absent simultaneously.

Schools must provide conferences and activities during both regular school hours and evening hours, and may provide documentation to verify parent attendance if requested.

Department of Education and Industrial Commission of Arizona must notify schools and employers respectively about the provisions of this act, officially titled the "Parental Involvement Leave Act."
