AZ SB1195

Prohibits public entities in Arizona from spending public monies to promote, advocate for, or become members of organizations that promote reducing meat/dairy consumption, replacing animal protein with insect or synthetic protein, or reducing motor vehicle travel.

Prohibits spending on initiatives to reduce or limit airplane travel, limit clothing purchases, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, limit global temperature increases, adopt climate action plans, or replace private ownership with shared/rented goods.

Prohibits spending to further Marxist ideologies including stakeholder capitalism, with an exception allowing the Department of Transportation to use cameras to monitor motor vehicle travel on state and interstate highways.

Grants any qualified Arizona elector standing to sue public entities for violations, with courts authorized to issue permanent injunctions and award reasonable attorney fees and costs if violations are proven by preponderance of evidence.

Defines "public entity" to include the state, political subdivisions, state and local agencies, Arizona Board of Regents universities, and community college districts.
