Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 16-408 regarding costs of special district elections.

Clarifies that the governing body of a "special district" (rather than "election") authorized to conduct an election may contract with the board of supervisors and county recorder for election services.

Specifies that contracted election service costs shall be charged against the special district rather than the election itself.

Maintains existing requirements that special district election costs, including ballot preparation and signature comparison, be funded by the special district's own funds.

Makes technical corrections to terminology used in statutes governing special district election procedures.
