SB1260 - Dog Racing; Simulcast Wagering; Prohibition

• Prohibits pari-mutuel wagering on simulcast dog racing in Arizona on or after December 31, 2028

• Prohibits pari-mutuel wagering on simulcasts of dog racing originating outside the continental United States on or after June 30, 2024

• Allows dog racing permittees that operated live dog racing in 2016 or in eight out of ten years from 1980-1990 in counties with populations under 500,000 to operate as racetrack enclosures without conducting live racing

• Permits qualified permittees to conduct advance deposit wagering and wagering at additional facilities without offering live racing

• Applies retroactively from June 30, 2024, and was approved by the Governor on June 21, 2024
