AZ SB1303

Amends section 15-1626 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding powers and duties of the Arizona Board of Regents.

Requires the board to develop and implement a program awarding honors endorsements to high school diplomas based on demonstrated extraordinary knowledge, skill, and competency in mathematics, English, science, and social studies, with additional subjects possible at board discretion.

Makes the honors endorsement program voluntary for students and available to pupils enrolled in school districts, charter schools, or private schools throughout Arizona.

Includes clarifying grammatical and stylistic revisions to existing board authority language regarding tuition setting, curriculum establishment, and personnel policies.
