Requires the auditor general to conduct a cost study of Arizona online instruction programs and schools, with authority to select a sample for review.

Study must examine costs for fiscal years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023, including administration, technology, personnel, and curriculum expenses, plus federal funding sources.

Auditor general must provide recommendations for reporting options by course delivery method, student enrollment, teacher counts, and identify areas to reduce administrative and reporting requirements.

Appropriates $165,000 from the state general fund to the auditor general's office in fiscal year 2024-2025 to complete the cost study.

Section requiring the cost study repeals on December 31, 2025.
