Appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the Arizona Department of Education for planting low-biogenic volatile organic compound-emitting trees on public school campuses.

Requires distribution on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2024, prioritizing schools where 75 percent or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches.

Allows remaining funds after December 31, 2024, to be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to any Arizona public school.

Permits the department to require recipient schools to report on their use of the appropriated funds and allows schools to partner with nonprofit organizations for tree planting.

Exempts this appropriation from lapsing under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190, allowing unspent funds to carry forward.
