Amends section 46-803 of Arizona Revised Statutes to remove the requirement that the Department of Economic Security establish waiting lists for child care assistance and eliminate priority based on income levels.

Removes the provision requiring the department to prioritize families at 100% of federal poverty level and continue through 165% based on income thresholds, regardless of time on the waiting list.

Appropriates unspecified funds from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the Department of Economic Security for child care assistance costs to eliminate the current waiting list.

Extends child care assistance to eligible families with incomes up to 165% of the federal poverty level through the appropriated funds.

Maintains all other existing eligibility categories and requirements for child care assistance, including provisions for families transitioning off cash assistance, diverted families, and special circumstance families.
