Removes cochlear implants from the exclusion list of prosthetic devices for AHCCCS members age 21 and older, making them a covered medical service.

Specifies that monies from the hospital assessment fund cannot be used to pay for cochlear implants for eligible persons age 21 and older.

Maintains existing exclusions for hearing aids, dentures, and bone-anchored hearing aids as non-covered prosthetic devices for adults.

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2907 governing covered health and medical services under the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.
