Wind farms cannot be located within six miles of property owned by a different person or entity unless the neighboring property owner provides written consent.

Wind farm definition includes wind turbines and associated facilities with a single electrical grid interconnection designed for or capable of operating at aggregate capacity of five or more megawatts.

Exemption applies to one or more wind turbines primarily serving a single customer at one location with aggregate capacity of less than twenty megawatts.
