AZ SB1501

Establishes the tribal community college operations fund administered by the Arizona Board of Regents to distribute monies to tribal community colleges in the state.

Fund may receive legislative appropriations, gifts, grants, devises, and other contributions from lawful sources.

Monies may be used for operational expenses and costs to establish or provide instructional programs offered by tribal community colleges.

Appropriates $13,333,333 from the state general fund in each of fiscal years 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 to the tribal community college operations fund.

Fund monies are exempt from lapsing provisions and investment earnings shall be credited back to the fund.
