Adds Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-422 prohibiting use of the "gay and transgender panic defense" as justification for threatening or using physical force against another person.

Bars individuals from claiming self-defense based on discovery of, knowledge about, or potential disclosure of another person's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

Specifically excludes situations involving unwanted nonforcible romantic or sexual advances or prior dating/romantic relationships as valid provocation circumstances.

Amends section 13-1101 to clarify that "adequate provocation" does not include the discovery of or knowledge about a victim's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, even in contexts of unwanted advances or prior relationships.
