Adds section 36-425.10 to Arizona Revised Statutes requiring health care institutions to provide patients with serious mental illness a 30-day supply of all medications (prescription and over-the-counter) when transferring or discharging to another facility, residential placement, or group home.

Medications must include only those the patient received during the previous 10 days that are ongoing or to be taken as needed.

Each medication must include clear documented instructions that are signed by the patient or the patient's parent or guardian, the discharge team, and the intake team.
