AZ SB1602

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-992 regarding county board of supervisors' responsibility to levy school district taxes.

Replaces "number" with "student count as defined in section 15-901" in subsection F when referring to resident high school pupils in common school districts not within a high school district.

Applies the same "student count" definition language to the Department of Education's July 1 annual reporting requirement to counties regarding high school pupil counts.

Maintains existing provisions for additional tax levies in school districts ineligible for equalization assistance and for common school districts not within a high school districts.
