Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 33-1314 to establish maximum rent increase limits for tenants.

Sets permissible rent increases at the lesser of: (1) 7 percent of the lowest rental rate charged in the preceding 12 months, or (2) 3 percent of the lowest rental rate plus the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (All Urban Consumers, U.S. City Average).

Caps all rent increases at no more than 10 percent of the lowest rental rate charged during the 12 months immediately preceding the increase.

Effective December 31, 2024.
