School districts and charter schools may provide career and technical education (CTE) programs under the same terms and funding as career technical education districts formed pursuant to section 15-392.

CTE programs offered by school districts or charter schools are subject to the same program requirements as career technical education districts.

School districts and charter schools may receive funding from the Department of Education for CTE programs on equal terms with career technical education districts.

School districts and charter schools cannot receive tax revenue associated with joining a career technical education district under section 15-392, subsection B.
