Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-1444 to reduce the maximum duration of employment contracts for community college chancellors, vice chancellors, and presidents from five years to three years.

Existing employment contracts for chancellors, vice chancellors, and presidents remain valid through their original expiration dates and are not affected by this change.

The three-year maximum contract duration applies only to new employment contracts entered into on or after the effective date of the act.

District boards retain authority to enter into employment contracts with these positions for a duration of more than one year but not exceeding three years.
