Urges the Arizona Corporation Commission to adopt previously considered proposed energy rules requiring 50% emissions-free electricity by 2032 and 100% by 2050.

Proposed rules would include energy efficiency standards and energy storage requirements that encompass customer-owned systems.

States current Arizona renewable energy standards end at 15% renewable generation by 2025 and are insufficient for addressing climate change and greenhouse gas emissions.

Notes the Commission rejected the proposed standards in 2022 citing ratepayer cost concerns, despite rising costs being driven by natural gas price increases rather than renewable energy investments.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit copies of this memorial to the Corporation Commission members.
