Ratifies the proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution known as House Joint Resolution 208, which provides equal rights for men and women.

The amendment prohibits denial or abridgement of equality of rights under the law by the United States or any State on account of sex.

Congress retains power to enforce the amendment through appropriate legislation.

The amendment takes effect two years after ratification.

Directs Arizona's Secretary of State to transmit a copy of the resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate and Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
