HB 2032 Summary

• Adds three disqualifying factors that prevent an employer from being placed in the assigned risk plan: failure to meet health and safety requirements, non-payment of outstanding premiums, or knowingly making material misrepresentations on applications.

• Establishes that an employer placed in the assigned risk plan may be removed subject to section 23-961.

• Renumbers existing sections of Arizona Revised Statutes section 23-1091 from B through I to C through J to accommodate the new provisions.

• Maintains existing requirements that there is only one workers' compensation assigned risk plan in Arizona, administered by a qualified party contracted by the director of the department of insurance and financial institutions.
