Requires school district administrators, officials, or records custodians to provide requested information or records to governing board members within 10 business days

Prohibits requiring governing board members to submit formal public records requests under Title 39, Chapter 1 to obtain district information

Prevents district staff from denying requests based on whether the information relates to an upcoming meeting agenda item

Requires governing board members to maintain confidentiality of protected records, including student information under FERPA, and limits discussion of employee or student discipline matters to executive sessions only, with exceptions for reporting suspected unlawful conduct to law enforcement or state agencies
