Allows the director to periodically review subsequent active management areas (AMAs) to determine if they continue meeting designation criteria.

Permits the director to remove a subsequent AMA designation if an area no longer meets the criteria prescribed in section 45-412, subsection A.

Requires the director to hold a public hearing before removing a subsequent AMA designation, with notice published in newspapers of general circulation in affected counties.

Establishes that removal hearings must occur within 30-60 days of first publication notice and be held within the currently designated AMA area.

Requires the director to file written findings within 30 days of the hearing and publish the removal order in the same manner as designation orders, with the order becoming effective upon final publication.
