Requires able-bodied adults under 60 years of age receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to participate in a mandatory employment and training program as specified in federal law (7 U.S.C. § 2015(d))

Exempts recipients who comply with work registration requirements under Title IV of the Social Security Act or the federal-state unemployment compensation system

Exempts parents or caregivers responsible for incapacitated persons or dependent children under six years of age, bona fide students enrolled at least half-time, and regular participants in drug addiction or alcohol treatment programs

Exempts individuals employed at least 30 hours per week or earning weekly wages equal to federal minimum wage multiplied by 30 hours

Exempts 16, 17, or 18-year-olds who are not household heads and attend school or are enrolled in employment training programs on at least a half-time basis
