Allows either party in dissolution of marriage or legal decision-making/parenting time proceedings to demand a jury trial by written filing, with trial date set at least 30 days after demand.

Jury may determine factual issues regarding property classification and valuation, child best interest findings, spousal maintenance factors, domestic violence or child abuse allegations, contempt determinations, and other statutory issues.

Court retains authority to make orders on parenting time schedules, child support amounts, and spousal maintenance amounts while incorporating jury factual findings and statutory factors.

Jury verdicts are binding on the court, which must incorporate jury findings into final orders unless otherwise prescribed by law.

Supreme Court may adopt rules for family court jury trial proceedings consistent with this statute.
